Marco Aslim and Lissi Ahrens-Heimer, the founders of Valla Vino, share a common passion for excellent wines and culinary delights. Originally from the fashion and event industry, they decided to pursue their dream of owning their own wine bar. Marco discovered his enthusiasm for wine during an extended stay at an Austrian vineyard, while Lissi absorbed a variety of culinary influences through her life experiences in India, Canada, and France, deepening her passion for good food.
From their first location in the Markthalle am Pfefferberg to the new venue in Lychener Straße in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg, they have created Valla Vino as a place that combines wine culture and gastronomy. In addition to an impressive selection of naturally produced wines and bubbles, Valla Vino also offers a diverse selection of kombucha for non-alcoholic options.
With regular kitchen takeovers and culinary events such as the famous "Frankfurter Abend," Marco and Lissi bring the diverse flavors of their hometown, Frankfurt am Main, to the Berlin gastronomy scene. Their goal is to provide their guests with an unforgettable culinary experience, characterized by the careful selection and presentation of their products, as well as their passion for hospitality and enjoyment.
